Rewarding organizations of all sectors, sizes and geographical position.that are committed to making our world better is the primary task of the JSA. The JSA stands for clarity, authority, intelligence and knowledge, which is why the Award is successful worldwide.

PROCESS OF NOMINATION AND SELECTION.

The JSA Assembly in New York is responsible for the selection of the Jhonson Sustainability Award. The Award Assembly has 20 members and is the working body that reviews the nominations and selects the candidates. 

 

Who is eligible for the Jhonson Sustainability Award?
Candidates eligible for the JSA are those who passed the screening criteria.

How are the Award Laureates selected?

The JSA rewards organizations that are committed to improving our world in their daily activities. There are 5 prize categories:
- Platinum for organizations that scored between 801 and 1000 points.
- Gold for organizations that scored between 601 and 800 points.
- Silver for organizations that scored between 401 and 600 points.
- Bronze for organizations that scored between 201 and 400 points.
- Copper for organizations that scored between 01 and 200 points.

RATING METHODOLOGY.

PHILOSOPHICAL PERSPECTIVE OF THE JSA.

  • Relevance: The ranking is meant to be representative of corporate sustainability in the current socio-economic context.

  • Transparency: The precise methodology of the ranking and the results of the process are fully disclosed.

  • Objectivity: Eligible companies will be assessed using quantitative, qualitative and performance indicators.

  • Comparability: Organizations are compared with their peers from the same business sector.

  • Engagement: Qualifying organizations for the awards are notified prior to the evaluation, so that they have the opportunity to ensure that the necessary data is made available publicly.

  • Stakeholder: stakeholder feedback is actively solicited throughout the project. A Panel of experts, consisting of several sustainability professionals, examines and comments on all aspects of the methodology.
